Dr. Erik Dutilly specializes in helping bright, capable students build the academic skills, executive-function systems, and confidence they need to succeed in school.

He holds a PhD in Education, a Master’s in Education, a Colorado teaching license, and National Tutoring Association certification. He has worked full-time as a tutor and academic coach for five years, with particular expertise in executive function, ADHD, dyslexia-informed instruction, and BVSD math pathways from elementary school through Caclulus.

His writing on tutoring, ADHD, and student support has appeared in publications from the National Tutoring Association and CHADD.

For families needing deeper support, Dr. Dutilly also provides founder-led academic management that combines tutoring, executive-function coaching, parent guidance, and school strategy.

Senior Tutor

PhD Neuroscientist | Math | Science | Psychology | Statistics | Writing | Critical Thinking | Chess Instructor

Ted holds a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Colorado Boulder and a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. His graduate and postdoctoral research focused on how the brain integrates information to guide decision-making and behavior. Through this work, he developed extensive experience in experimental design, statistics, data analysis, scientific writing, and communicating complex ideas to diverse audiences.

Ted also has experience as a private chess tutor and enjoys helping students develop analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and confidence. His academic interests span neuroscience, psychology, statistics, history, comparative religion, and the science of learning. He particularly enjoys breaking complex ideas into manageable pieces and helping students understand not just what to do, but why it works.

Outside of tutoring, Ted enjoys competitive chess, rock climbing, hiking, reading, and exploring ideas in science, technology, and philosophy. He is also continuing to develop his writing, with particular interests in the sociology of science and theoretical psychology. He values curiosity, continuous learning, and approaching problems from new perspectives.

Associate Tutor

Robert is a 2026 graduate of the University of Colorado Boulder, where he earned a B.S. in Computer Science with a minor in Business. 

Originally from the Philadelphia area, he tutors all levels of math from elementary through high school and has supported students through college coursework as well. Robert enjoys getting to know his students and helping them build confidence alongside their skills. 

Outside of tutoring, he closely follows sports, loves traveling, getting outdoors and discovering new music.

Meghan Eliza Stancliff is a student at University of Colorado Boulder studying Biomedical Engineering and Creative Writing. She is passionate about making education accessible to all through subject tutoring and teaching executive functioning skills in a fun and engaging way. As someone who finds joy in merging STEM with the humanities, Meghan Eliza is prepared to tutor various levels and disciplines, of math, science, history, psychology, and English. 

In her free time, Meghan Eliza likes reading books, spending time with her dog, riding horses, and being creative through music, dance, and art.

Laynee Wessel is a master's student at the University of Colorado Boulder studying English literature. She has bachelor's degrees in Creative Writing and Spanish Language from Oklahoma State University. Several of her creative works have been published in national literary magazines, and she has extensive experience in literary research and academic writing. She is extremely passionate about writing and second language acquisition as skills, and is prepared to tutor disciplines in English, Spanish, History, and any form of writing. 

In her free time, Laynee loves to cook, read science fiction novels, bike, and channel her creativity through short story and comic writing. 

Associate Tutor

Elementary Education

Cara Cluver is a student at the University of Colorado Boulder studying elementary education. She currently holds her associates degree in elementary education and has three years teaching experience in an early learning center. She is passionate about curating an environment that loves learning and meeting each student where they're at with a genuine drive to help them grow and be there every step of the process. Cara strives to build an emotional connection to support in-depth, valuable, and progressive learning that allows every student to not just succeed, but feel pride in doing so.

She understands that early education is the building block for a strong sense of learning and confidence well into adulthood, and prioritizes creative solutions, problem solving, and a curious mindset to allow each student to thrive and feel confident in their abilities on their own.

When not studying or tutoring, Cara enjoys exploring the town of Boulder. She prioritizes appreciating the outdoors, and can often be found hammocking, hiking, or laying out by the river with a good book. Cara's favorite children's books are "The English Roses" and "The Kissing Hand".

Joseph Williams recently moved from Nashville, Tennessee to Boulder to pursue my graduate degree in computational linguistics. He brings three years of tutoring experience to the table and takes great pride and joy in tutoring. 

Outside of school and work, he can usually be found going on a hiking adventure, cooking an experimental meal, or spending time with friends and family.
